The products range includes from surveillance radars to air traffic monitoring devices

The portfolio Airbus Defence and Space will present at the World ATM Congress 2015 in Madrid includes new features of its Airport Surveillance Radar Next Generation. The radar provides enhanced detection capabilities and the suppression of wind farm echos together with a significant increase of detection range coverage to 120 NM (220 km). In addition ASR-NG now provides primary surveillance radar based height information for approach control.

The IFF (Identification Friend or Foe) Monopulse Secondary Surveillance Radar MSSR 2000I will be showcased, which is compliant to the latest Eurocontrol, ICAO and Nato standards and provides highest reliability with lowest total cost of ownership of life-cycle.

The SESAR (Single European Sky ATM Research) Mission Trajectory Concept enables a civil-military partnership by establishing a continuous flow of information on airspace needs and constraints between the crew, coordinators at national, sub-regional level and the Network Manager. Thus, it offers a harmonised service to accommodate Military air traffic flights across Europe. Experts will be available at our booth to explain this concept.
