| IEE Taligate detector claims its 5th award in a row |
Luxembourg-based sensing specialist IEE’s Tailgate Detector TDflex has been selected as the winner in the Access Control category in Safety & Security Asia’s Merlion Awards, which were presented in October 2011.
Five exhibitors were recognized at the Awards, which were divided into seven categories – Access Control, Alarm Systems, CCTV Surveillance, Communications, Fire & Disaster Management Technology, Homeland Security Technology, and Others. Judged by a panel of experts from both academia and independent bodies and presented to outstanding participants, the Awards recognize the highest standards of product innovation excellence in the ASEAN Region and beyond.
This is the fifth award that TDflex has won over the past year. In April the Tailgate Detector TDflex won the SIA New Product Showcase Award in Austin Hill, Las Vegas. In November 2010, TDflex received the Government Security News (GSN) Homeland Security Award for Best Physical Security Authentication/Identification System, as well as the Innovation Prize in the category Business Development by Fedil, Business Federation Luxembourg. In October 2010, TDflex was awarded the Security Innovation Award by the Security Essen show in Germany.
