With the DVS 2500 Dallmeier launches a new appliance for the analysis and recording of up to 24 IP-based channels.
Powerful and reliable: The DVS 2500 is a SEDOR appliance for the analysis of up to 24 video streams. Whether it’s the automatic alarm registering unauthorised access, the protection of artwork or people counting, the DVS 2500 is the ideal solution for a variety of applications.
For the recording of the video streams the software SMAVIA Recording Server is already integrated. With the SMAVIA Viewing Client software provided the recordings can be viewed and evaluated conveniently via Ethernet.
SEDOR technology inside
The video analysis of the DVS 2500 is based on the SEDOR technology, which was developed by Dallmeier back in 1998. In the years since then, this proprietary development has been refined and improved steadily and recently it is characterised by outstanding detection depth and a low false alarm rate.
SEDOR is – as the name “Self-Learning Event Detector” implies – a self-learning system. Therefore, the user does not have to make any elaborate settings. The high-performance video analysis system provides outstanding analytical results due to state-of-the-art image analysis algorithms and the constant adjustment of the system parameters to the current surrounding conditions (auto-adaptation). In combination with the different analysis applications it can serve a variety of surveillance and counting purposes.
Application SEDOR Intruder
SEDOR Intruder is ideal for the surveillance of installations in indoor and outdoor areas and reports reliably every unauthorised access. The application detects if an object approaches an installation, the direction from which it is coming, and how long it remains in an area. Object behaviour analyses and plausibility checks optimise the detection results and reduce undesired reports to an absolute minimum.
Application SEDOR Art
SEDOR Art is specifically designed for the surveillance of artwork in exhibition spaces. The application is capable of protecting exhibited works of art from theft and damage and reports illegal approaches, repositionings, the theft of a piece of art, or suspect items in the exhibition spaces.
Application SEDOR Object Counting
SEDOR Object Counting has been designed for the counting of moving objects in indoor and outdoor areas. The application counts objects, such as individuals or vehicles, extremely reliably if they are distinctly separated – this way e.g. visitor fluxes or traffic flows can be analysed. Due to the integrated event analysis, a clearly arranged overview of the individual counting results can be represented in graphical or tabular form.
