Nedap is attending the Securex 2010 exhibition with a host of security and access control solutions on display
Nedap will present the AP6003, its IP access controller at Securex 2010

Nedap will be present at the International Security Exhibition in Poland. Nedap will exhibit its latest technologies at the Securex International Security Exhibition, the most important meeting for the security sector in Poland and Central Europe. The trade show will take place from 26 to 29 April 2010 at the Poznan International Fair and will gather experts in the security sector from all over the world.

The business opportunities for Nedap at the Polish security market are steadily growing, making the biannual Securex a suitable meeting place to inform the Polish and Eastern European customers about Nedap's newest innovations and the most recent developments in the security market. Nedap will be present with three of its business units, Security Management, Locker Management and Automatic Vehicle Identification.

AEOS is a powerful, user-friendly access control and security management system that can handle multiple card reader technology

Nedap Security Management will demonstrate its security management system, AEOS. This powerful, user-friendly access control and security management system is based on smart network technology and can handle multiple card reader technology. This means that it can interchangeably read different technologies, making it a multi-functional and convenient security solution.

Nedap will also present the AP6003, its IP access controller that communicates with an AEpu via Ethernet instead of the traditional AEbus. By using their existing IP infrastructure, customers can save considerably on installation and maintenance costs. Another feature to be shown by Nedap Security Management is the Graphical Alarm Handler, a web-based tool to handle alarms in AEOS, giving a clear overview of the security status of the premises. The graphical representation of buildings, floor plans and alarm points provides users with a convenient instrument to visualise and control alarms.

Nedap's business unit Locker Management will show the Mifare lock. This is an electronic lock with a powerful built-in Mifare card reader. As many organisations use Mifare cards for access control and payment at vending machines, these cards can now also be used to open and manage lockers. The lock with the integrated Mifare card reader is designed to be used in many different situations and can even be used in metal doors.

Nedap Automatic Vehicle Identification (AVI) will exhibit its new UHF reader. This reader offers long range vehicle identification up to 4 metres using the latest UHF technology. Based on battery-free, passive tag technology, the Transit UHF reader offers a reliable and cost effective solution, especially for parking access.

To learn more about Nedap, visit Securex, from 26 to 29 April 2010, Hall 7/stand 45.
