Prisma customers remain loyal to the chain due to the high quality, wide range of products and affordable prices. The SOK group has already expanded Prisma into other international locations such as Russia, Estonia and Latvia.
Challenge
Prisma stores in Finland have enjoyed rapid expansion over the years. Several of these new stores needed interior surveillance. They had to provide safe shopping while monitoring the large crowds and thousands of goods. Also, they had to keep an eye out for thefts, break-ins, accidents and emergency health matters that may arise. Prisma needed a camera that would have easy installation, would frustrate vandals and was reliable.

MESSOA SDS710PRO Speed Dome Camera was selected and had been placed in key positions such as the entrance and main gates. This model is equipped with a built-in Sony zoom lens module. This lens can capture even the smallest objects and provides excellent picture sensitivity which is vital for any retail environment. It also uses a high-performance zoom with superfine 0.02° pan controls to deliver smooth tracking of moving people and objects. A 360° continuous pan operation range with a max speed of 430°/sec. offers quick response time and flexible surveillance coverage. These features give Security an excellent overview of the entire store while at the same time able to zoom in without losing detail.
The SDS710PRO also uses a 128x Wide Dynamic Range. This allows the camera to capture image details and accurate colors in both the lightest and darkest portions of a high contrast scene. Users are allowed to setup the camera for motion detection to send alarm signals to an external device, or it can be setup in conjunction with a DVR (Alarm device) unit.
Easy installation & reliability
The SDS710PRO is easy to install and maintain. Each part of the camera has been designed to make it as hands off as possible. MESSOA has integrated the power, video, and other cables into a single cable. A safety cord design prevents the camera from falling. Our cameras come with maintenance free slip rings that are required to pass rigorous tab tests of over 4 million rotations (MTBF) making it durable for 24 hour monitoring.
Combining a vandal-resistant casing and precise monitoring, the SDS710PRO is a reliable and tamper resistant video surveillance solution. The camera is protected by a die-cast aluminium body (4mm) that resists cracking, denting, or deforming upon impact. It is covered with a high-impact polycarbonate dome cover (3mm). Furthermore, it has a Preset Accuracy of ±0.01° so it can maintain pinpoint accuracy even after long periods of time.
