Ionit Technologies selects David R. Wedel as EVP, Director of Sales 
Chicago, IL - Ionit Technologies, industry leader in advanced digital video compression solutions for the security and process control industries, has appointed David R. Wedel EVP, Director of Sales. Mr. Wedel brings over 25 years of experience in the security industry as an end-user, specifier, integrator, and sales and marketing leader to Ionit. He assumes responsibility for Ionit's North American sales efforts, including it's value-added reseller network, regional and vertical growth strategies.

Prior to joining Ionit, Wedel was Product Sales Specialist for physical security products at Cisco Systems after Cisco's acquisition of SyPixx Networks in 2006 where he had been Western Regional Sales and Marketing Manager. He has previously held security sales leadership positions at Mosler, Diebold, Intelect Networks and GE.
