Cross Match Technologies, a leading global provider of biometric identity management solutions, announced that it has opened a sales office in Reading, west of London, serving the United Kingdom and European regions. The announcement comes as the Company nears completion of the consolidation of its Jena, Germany operations.

"Cross Match has a long history of supporting law enforcement, defence and security forces, as well as border agency initiatives throughout the region”, noted Steve Gedney, vice president of sales for Europe and Asia Pacific for Cross Match. "Having a physical presence here reinforces our commitment to the market and our valued customers."

The UK office, located at the Arlington Business Park, Theale, Reading, houses regional sales, business development, and sales engineering staff, and will soon provide facilities for solution demonstrations. Cross Match will continue to maintain sales offices, maintenance and repair, and select production capability in Jena, Germany in support of its global operations.
