| The acquisition expands CSG’s existing footprint in Oklahoma, under its Guardian Security Systems brand |
Continuing its growth strategy and on the heels of acquiring two Texas companies during the past three months, Central Security Group (“CSG”) recently has announced the acquisition of Allied Protective Systems, based in Oklahoma City. The deal adds close to 6,000 customers and expands CSG’s existing footprint in Oklahoma, under its Guardian Security Systems brand.
“For more than 30 years, the Allied team has operated a successful and respected business, which is an ideal fit within our branch operations,” said Richard Ginsburg, CSG president and CEO. “We are thrilled to welcome both their customers and employees to our company, expanding our service capabilities and market access in the state where we are headquartered. We are also pleased to make available additional service offerings to these customers, through our full line of interactive security and home automation options.”
"It was a difficult choice to make to sell my company, but after 50 years in the alarm industry, I felt it was time to retire,” said Johnnie Fletcher, president, Allied Protective Systems. “I selected CSG/Guardian because of their reputation and my desire to see that my employees and customers were taken care of after the sale."
CSG is one of the fastest growing security and home automation platforms in the United States. Among CSG’s many assets are a vast dealer program; a state-of-the-art monitoring and customer care center in Tulsa; a branch network; and customers in 17 states. Its core services include interactive security, home automation, video monitoring, and energy management.
