Cougar Monitoring enhances the Immix® Video Monitoring automation platform
Cougar Monitoring, one of UK's largest CCTV and Intruder alarm monitoring centres, has selected the Immix® Video Monitoring automation platform - a move which will make its services much more attractive to installers.

Developed by SureView Systems, the leading developer of video-based automation platforms for the security alarm industry, Immix is a UL classified automation platform designed to receive alarm events from video, video analytics, access control, automation systems and GPS location aware devices. Events from all of these devices are aggregated within the Immix® platform and are presented to the operator in a consistent, simple to use interface.

According to Marc Newey, Sales and Marketing Manager at Cougar Monitoring: "The Immix platform not only improves the service we can offer our end user customers, but it also makes Cougar a far more attractive proposition to installers as we can now monitor more than 40 additional types of digital video recording equipment."

The Immix platform features a single operator interface supporting a wide range of hardware from most major manufacturers. It has a comprehensive audit trail that logs everything an operator does, hears or witnesses, requires no proprietary hardware and utilises a robust and scalable architecture, which is fully Microsoft server certified.
