Vicon appoints Sales Director
 Richard Allen-Miles, Sales Director (UK and Ireland) of Vicon
Vicon has appointed Richard Allen-Miles as their UK and Ireland Sales Director.

Richard was previously Global Account Manager for Coe.  Having worked within the CCTV industry since 1986, he has also held senior roles at TAC and Richardson Electronics.

Commenting on his appointment Richard said: "I am very excited to be given the opportunity to head up Vicon's sales efforts in the UK and Ireland.  We have a fantastic product portfolio supported by an R&D programme which will ensure we maintain our reputation of being an innovative manufacturer of high quality video management solutions.  I am therefore very much looking forward to working with Vicon's highly professional sales team to ensure that we continue to grow our market share."

Based at Vicon's head office in Fareham, Richard will report to Managing Director Chris Wall who said: "Although we are now enjoying considerable success throughout the EMEA, the UK and Ireland continues to be a very important market for us.  We are therefore delighted to be able to recruit someone of Richard's ability and experience to help us effectively implement a sales strategy which reflects our strengths."
