For prevention of ice formation, de-icing heaters are an optional extra to be used with a separately mounted weatherproof thermostat. Solenoid operated shutter mechanisms can be fitted (at extra cost) to provide clearly defined and characteristic signals in conjunction with a programmed controller. IP 55 protection.
