The NIR 700 is able to detect the presence of an object by interrupting the beam from an infrared transceiver being reflected back to itself. The NIR 700 is ideal for all kinds of detection applications, such as garage/gate safety devices, visitor presence detectors for shops, product-flow counting, in/out directional checking, automatic door opening control, etc. When there is power or system failure, the output status is the same as if the beam were interrupted.
