The DLR3 series duplex recorders feature a very efficient compression method (MPEG-4).  As a result they only take up approximately 12K for one best quality image, which is significantly less than comparable models.  As storage capacity can be expanded to up to 3 Hard Disks, recording long periods of time is no problem.  Recorders of the DLR3 series are network compatible and are equipped with supporting remote software.  This software enables access to live pictures and recorded images in single or multi-image mode without interrupting recording.  For quick and easy archiving a CD writer is integrated.
