JBOD is a high capacity external hard disk option that provides additional storage capabilities for DM DVRs. Each JBOD gives DM DVR users 100 days of extra storage in 24-hour time-lapse mode. The JBOD simply connects to the DM DVR's SCSI port, using the cable provided. Each DM DVR can have up to a maximum of seven mixed external SCSI devices e.g. several JBOD units and an external CD Writer. JBOD units are currently available with a capacity of 1TB.
