Patrick Timlin, Chief Executive Officer of MSA Security, has been selected by the ASIS New York City Chapter as the 2013 Person of the Year. Timlin will be honoured at the NYC Chapter Awards Luncheon on Thursday, May 9, from 12:00-1:30 pm.

Pat Timlin returned to MSA Security in 2012, after a two-year leave of absence taken after accepting an appointment from Police Commissioner Raymond W. Kelly to serve as Deputy Commissioner of Operations of the New York City Police Department (NYPD). He was highly successful in that position, creating and/or implementing various successful initiatives, crime reduction strategies, administrative processes, and operational efficiencies.

Timlin has spent most of his career in public service, having served with the NYPD in various capacities for twenty-two years (1980-2002) in the Bronx and Queens.
