Vicon launches IP camera designed for prison cells
Product Profile
New high-security camera for prison cells
Vicon Industries introduces a new corner-mount camera designed for use in custodial suites and prison cells. The V-CELL-IP consists of an integrated stainless steel housing, camera, lens and IR illuminators. Its ONVIF certification provides an open platform for integration with a wide range of video management systems. The camera’s 2.5 mm wide angle lens enables the camera to view a cell with no “blind spots”; adjustable privacy masking and two-way audio support the demands of typical prison installations. An on-screen menu system is accessed using a portable, plug-in remote control device.
The camera is offered in an H.264 network version with PoE as well as an analogue model.
