It has also been responsible for bringing to market TransVu, a sophisticated mobile CCTV system, designed specifically to operate within the rigours of urban transit systems. Previous generation systems were only capable of recording images from cameras. AD Network Video products can handle system information from the vehicle, simultaneously recording vital system data like engine speed, oil pressure, operation of brakes / accelerator and indicators, bringing a new level of sophistication to mobile video operation. GPS data can also be utilised, pin pointing the position of the vehicle at all times, reporting if the vehicle is off-route, or providing logged information of the vehicle’s journey.
