Verint Nextiva™ S1100 multiband wireless video system

The Verint Nextiva S1100w-CE wireless video system enables digital video transmission over multiple license-free wireless bands (2.4/5.4-5.7 GHz).  It delivers high-quality MPEG-4-based video at 25 frames per second.  Compatible with standard analogue CCTV cameras, the S1100w-CE is designed to allow deployment of cameras in hard-to-wire locations and extend the reach of wired CCTV systems.

Using high quality MPEG-4 video rather than JPEG allows anything between 9 and 33 cameras on the 2.4GHz bands, or between 33 and 120 cameras over the latest 5.x bands.  Significantly more compressed video can cover much longer distances than previously achieved.

S1100 systems use the SmartSight SPCF™ protocol on the 802.11 network, resolving “hidden node”, quality of service and security problems often present when using conventional 802.11 wireless networking products.  Bad weather and ‘ghosting’ on reflective surfaces are no longer problem issues.
