IEC, the exclusive UK distributor of electric strike market leader TRIMEC, have announced the release of significant new variations to their principal product, the TRIMEC ES110 electric strike. Regarded within the market as the generic brand for high quality electric strikes, TRIMEC have introduced new slim long faceplate versions of the ES110, enabling easier installation to narrow doors and frames.

The TRIMEC ES110 has enjoyed market leadership for some years, owing to its rapid changeover (Fail Open / Fail Secure) capability, high holding force using hardened locking pins in shear, jaw depth, low current consumption and attractive warranty. Unfortunately, some applications have been unable to enjoy the benefits of the TRIMEC ES110 – primarily due to doors and frames being slim in design.
