The 8 Input Expansion Module is used with the Data Gathering Panel (DGP) to increase the number of inputs available in a system, without the expense of purchasing additional DGP. The expansion can be achieved in increments of 8 up to a total of 32 inputs on one DGP with the connection of the TS0021 8 input Expander. The 8 Input Expansion Module fits into spaces already allocated in standard Tecom enclosures, with room for other expansion modules and the DGP board. The Expansion Module will have an impact on input numbering, which results in changes to programming.
