| Sukhi Ghuman, the founder and CEO of Octavian Group, has been short-listed for Entrepreneur of the Year category |
The business acumen and flair that has seen Octavian grow substantially year on year has caught the attention of judges assessing entries to the Growing Business Awards, and Sukhi has been picked as a finalist in the Entrepreneur of the Year category.
Sukhi commented: "To get this far in such a coveted awards initiative is a great achievement and is testament to the efforts of the whole team within the Octavian Group. I look forward to the awards presentation and hopefully there will be more good news for Octavian."
Already this year Sukhi has been shortlisted in the National Business Awards, and has in previous years won Entrepreneur of the Year at an awards scheme run by Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
He is also a past winner of the IoD Emerging Leader (Large Business Category) and was in 2007 Young Entrepreneur of the Year as chosen for the First Business Ethnic Minority Business Awards.
Octavian Security was named as Britain's 27th fastest growing private company by the Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 League Table 2008.
