Dahua Technology Co., Ltd., a world-leading video surveillance solution provider headquartered in Hangzhou, China, just announced that its IPC-EBW8600 Mini-Dome Camera is now ImmerVision Enables certified. Dahua’s IPC-EBW8600 Mini-Dome Camera, now ImmerVision Enables certified, is capable of delivering 360-degree Video Standard, giving it the ability to instantly capture and navigate within high resolution 360-degree panomorph images. Dahua’s latest mini-dome now offers 6 megapixels of resolution and a built in 360-degree panomorph lens enabling 360-degree panoramic surveillance. This technology provides immersive views without blind spots and increases resolution of distant objects compared to other comparable camera models. The IPC-EBW8600 Mini-Dome Camera complements Dahua’s family of fixed IP cameras, providing users with 360-degree situational awareness and the ability to capture every angle on video for live playback forensic analysis. “Our 6-Megapixel 360-degree panomorph cameras ensure that our users can easily follow all of the action, even on the periphery,” said Peter Pan, Product Manager at Dahua. “We’ve provided security professionals with a 360-degree camera that is plug and play compatible with top VMS solutions worldwide that are already ImmerVision Enables 2.0 certified. This IPC-EBW8600 is built for any type of lighting condition and environment.” “Dahua’s latest mini-dome delivers increased 360-degree video coverage that is vital to surveying and protecting businesses and people. For example, in retail stores and transportation centres,” said Joel Schaffer, Business Development Manager, OEM/ODM - Video Surveillance Applications, at ImmerVision. “With the IPC-EBW8600 from Dahua, users now have full live and playback capability with no compromises.”

Dahua adds 3.0-Megapixel Network Camera to Eco-Savvy Series

Dahua Technology, a world-leading manufacturer and supplier of video surveillance products headquartered in Hangzhou, China recently introduced Eco-Savvy 3- Megapixel 5000-series network cameras, including domes (IPC-HDB(W)5302-DI/5300-DI) and IR-bullets (IPC-HFW5302C/5300c) as a complementary to its Eco-Savvy family, featuring power efficiency, better bitrate, ultra-low-lux with enhanced installation details. The new network camera series features 3-Megapixel CMOS and supports up to max 20fps@3Mp and 25/30fps@1080P encoding. Other regular functions such as DWDR, 3DNR, true Day/Night are all supported. More details have been taken into account during design for a better surveillance effect. Taking IR bullet for example, with new-arrayed IR LEDs circle, the camera is able to provide longer IR distance and wider coverage for a better night visual effect; and its dual-loop cover glass well separates lens and IR LEDs, which successfully avoids reflection on lens to ensure a clear and transparent image quality.  The new 3.0-Mp network camera series simplifies installation as well. The SD card slot of IR bullet has been relocated, one can easily insert it into camera by opening cover glass instead of unscrewing the back cover, which brings greater convenience and ease during installation and maintenance. As for domes, both in-ceiling and ceiling models are available depending on application demand, and the dome cover is made of dust-free smoke glass, sparing worry for installation locations where haze or dust are regular.  "Eco-Savvy series has been a hit, and we want to further refine this product line to make it more competitive and easy to use,” said Peter Pan, Product Manager of Network Camera at Dahua Technology. “This time, we put more efforts on improving details to further level up user’s experience. How to make sure our cameras installation and better deliver the performance through our mechanism design are our directions.”
