Dahua Technology DH-IPC-K100 HD cube network camera

This camera series is cute outside, but strong inside. Although it is even smaller than a palm and very light as well, the camera has almost all the functions which a professional surveillance camera is capable of. 1/3-inch 1.3Mp CMOS equipped, both H.264& MJPEG dual-stream encoding, real-time recording @720p and max. 15fps@1.3 megapixel, PoE power supply (non Wi-Fi version). When this series was under development, the question “What the home-users need” was asked thousands of times by Dahua designers; and one obvious answer is that for home-users, a practical but cute camera with simplicity and flexibility is what they seek for.Take model IPC-K100W as an example, this model supports WPS (Wi-Fi Protection Setup), which can further simplify the Wi-Fi installation while improving network security. In addition, the camera also supports PIR Sensor (Passive Infrared) with a 6-metre range. Anyone who shows up within this range will trigger the alarm and send an instant notification (E-mail/SMS) to alert the house owner to take immediate actions. Meanwhile, the camera is equipped with a flashlight, which simultaneously flashes along with the alarm (the camera supports external devices, audible for example) for alert and also serves as the light source for better image capturing and video recording.Other than burglar or unauthorised-access preventing, the IPC-K100 is also a house-keeper, in a joyful way. With connection to DMSS (Dahua’s Mobile Digital Mobile Surveillance Software), you can whenever wherever get the real-time condition under control, you can “watch over” your dear family or pet.

Dahua adds 3.0-Megapixel Network Camera to Eco-Savvy Series
Dahua adds 3.0-Megapixel Network Camera to Eco-Savvy Series

Dahua Technology, a world-leading manufacturer and supplier of video surveillance products headquartered in Hangzhou, China recently introduced Eco-Savvy 3- Megapixel 5000-series network cameras, including domes (IPC-HDB(W)5302-DI/5300-DI) and IR-bullets (IPC-HFW5302C/5300c) as a complementary to its Eco-Savvy family, featuring power efficiency, better bitrate, ultra-low-lux with enhanced installation details. The new network camera series features 3-Megapixel CMOS and supports up to max 20fps@3Mp and 25/30fps@1080P encoding. Other regular functions such as DWDR, 3DNR, true Day/Night are all supported. More details have been taken into account during design for a better surveillance effect. Taking IR bullet for example, with new-arrayed IR LEDs circle, the camera is able to provide longer IR distance and wider coverage for a better night visual effect; and its dual-loop cover glass well separates lens and IR LEDs, which successfully avoids reflection on lens to ensure a clear and transparent image quality.  The new 3.0-Mp network camera series simplifies installation as well. The SD card slot of IR bullet has been relocated, one can easily insert it into camera by opening cover glass instead of unscrewing the back cover, which brings greater convenience and ease during installation and maintenance. As for domes, both in-ceiling and ceiling models are available depending on application demand, and the dome cover is made of dust-free smoke glass, sparing worry for installation locations where haze or dust are regular.  "Eco-Savvy series has been a hit, and we want to further refine this product line to make it more competitive and easy to use,” said Peter Pan, Product Manager of Network Camera at Dahua Technology. “This time, we put more efforts on improving details to further level up user’s experience. How to make sure our cameras installation and better deliver the performance through our mechanism design are our directions.”
