Arecont Vision has unveiled the newest member of the MegaDome® feature-rich camera series. The new MegaDome UltraHD adds Tri-Mode capability, offering the user the choice of 12MP at 20fps, 4K at 30fps, or 1080p at 60fps, enabling delivery of outstanding video for a wide range of requirements. The true day/night indoor/outdoor MegaDome UltraHD dome camera is loaded with features, including a motorised remote focus/zoom P-Iris lens mounted in a 3-axis gimbal. The installer-friendly, IP66 environmental-rated and IK-10 impact-resistant housing encloses integrated IR LEDs with adjustable beam angle and LED intensity, SDHC onboard storage card slot, and mechanical IR cut filter. Wide dynamic range (WDR), NightView™ low light technology, binning mode for strong low light performance, SNAPstream™ (Smart Noise Adaptation and Processing) technology for reduced bandwidth without impacting image quality, and dual encoder H.264/MJPEG capabilities are built in as with other members of the MegaDome series. Features include privacy mask, motion detection, flexible cropping, bit rate control, multi-streaming, multicasting, forensic viewing, and non-integer scaling. The camera offers network protocols for security and management including SNMP, HTTPS, 802.1x, IPv4, and DHCP. Power requirements are met entirely via PoE (Power over Ethernet) or optionally via 12-24V DC. At the heart of all Arecont Vision-brand cameras is the in-house developed Massively Parallel Image Processing (MPIP) architecture, leveraging a built-in FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) integrated circuit. The architecture enables Arecont Vision cameras to be field upgraded with new advanced features and capabilities as they become available, while providing unmatched cybersecurity capabilities. All Arecont Vision cameras are integrated and tested with the industry’s leading VMS, video analytics, networking, storage, and other software and hardware through the company’s Technology Partner Program™ and subsidiary MegaLab™ technology centre.

The 8.3MP/1080p MegaVideo® 4K dual mode network camera is the new generation of Arecont Vision’s MegaVideo cameras. This fully compliant implementation of H.264 (MPEG-4, Part 10) provides full 3840 x 2160 megapixel resolution at full video frame rates of 30 frames per second (fps) at 8MP and 60fps while in 1080p binning mode. 3 ultra-high-definition IP lenses The series combines a day/night mechanical IR cut filter with a choice of three ultra-high definition P-iris lenses for precise, optimal image quality. MegaVideo 4K performs exceptionally well in very low-light thanks to NightView™, making it capable of covering areas where very little light is present. Features include SNAPstream™ (Smart Noise Adaptation and Processing) to reduce bandwidth without impacting image quality, scaling, binning mode, privacy masking, extended motion detection, flexible cropping, and Power over Ethernet (PoE - IEEE 802.3af). Built with Arecont Vision massively-parallel processing technology, MegaVideo 4K offers more than 27-times the resolution of standard resolution IP cameras. It offers the ability to output full real-time frame rates and deliver high-quality megapixel imaging for both indoor and outdoor applications. SDHC card The SDHC card slot supports up to 32GB of storage capacity for convenient onboard storage. The motorised remote focus/zoom lenses with P-iris control make set-up and maintenance easy. The camera’s power can be suppliedvia a Power-over-Ethernet compliant network cable connection or with power from a 12–24V DC/24V AC power supply. The camera's interface allows for an intuitive, fast, and easy configuration.

The Arecont Vision NVR offers the choice of 8 or 16 channel models (one channel = one camera sensor), each with built in PoE network switch, customer-replaceable hard drives, and Arecont Vision GUI interface. Smart Plug-and-Play technology simplifies setup with both Auto Discover and Auto Configuration. Camera licences are included for a complete all-in-one solution. A free mobile app is available for remote viewing and playback. A power status utility and instant playback capability round out the AV NVR series capabilities.  Arecont Vision SNAPstream™ Both the AV NVR AV800 and AV1600 models offer H.264, H.265, and MJPEG compression. Arecont Vision SNAPstream™ (Smart Noise Adaptation and Processing) technology reduces bandwidth without impacting image quality. The 8 channel AV800 model offers up to 10MP resolution recording per sensor, including 4K resolution and 40MP panoramic cameras. The AV1600 offers 16 channels and up to 5MP resolution recording per sensor.  WD Purple Surveillance For maximum video recording reliability, WD Purple Surveillance Hard Drives from Western Digital are included in with-drive configurations. No-drive configurations are available for customers wishing to install their own hard disk drives within Arecont Vision recommendations.  The AV800 can be configured any number of ways to support project requirements for single- and multi-sensor cameras.  For example, an AV800 could support four MicroDome® 5MP single-sensor cameras (4 channels), and a SurroundVideo® panoramic or Omni multi-sensor camera (4 channels), for a total count of 8 channels. The AV1600 could be configured up to 16 channels in the same manner, using a variety of Arecont Vision camera choices.  ONVIF support Designed for use with Arecont Vision-brand single and multi-sensor cameras, ONVIF type S cameras are also supported. The AV NVR is now part of the available products in the Arecont Vision MegaLab™ integration, test, and support facility. Arecont Vision cameras are integrated and tested with the industry’s leading VMS, video analytics, networking, storage, and other software and hardware through the company’s Technology Partner Program™ and its subsidiary MegaLab facility.  The AV NVR also includes a 3-year Arecont Vision warranty.
