Nigel Austin

Nigel Austin is a Business Development Manager, UK at Dahua Technology. Nigel has been in the security industry since 1988. He joined Dahua in June 2015 and is responsible to increase awareness about technical innovations and “value for money” that the company has to offer in the UK security marketplace. Nigel began his career with the British Government as an apprentice working his way through to be Regional Operations Manager and “technical authority for CCTV” within this Department. He then moved to work with Grundig electronics, followed by a short move out of manufacturing to join ADT, and then SANYO, where he worked for nearly 5 years. Prior to joining Dahua, he worked with Samsung Techwin for almost 7 years, first as a North Accounts Manager and then as a European Business Development Manager for retail. His skill set includes key account management, channel partners, account management, sales presentations, business development, go-to-market strategy, strategic partnerships and product marketing etc. Austin holds a HNC Electronic/Electrical Engineering degree from St Helens Technical College, UK.
