G4S Technology’s new access control system in time for next enrolment year
G4S Technology will include new access control and barriers within the Marlborough Building

G4S Technology, a leading building security solutions provider, are delighted to announce they have been chosen to manage the major expansion and upgrade work to City & Islington College’s access control system, in time for the 2012/13 enrolment intake in September.

G4S Technology continues to build its long standing relationship with City & Islington College, and over the last 12 months have completed the successful re-design of the College’s system. The supply and installation will be an upgrade of the existing system to G4S Technology’s Symmetry Security Management system, which will include new access control and barriers within the Marlborough Building refurbishment project.

All the work will take place over the summer, to cause minimum disruption to the day-to-day running of the College and will be completed in time for enrolment in September 2012.

Stewart Angell, UK Managing Director, G4S Technology Ltd, commented “We worked very closely with City & Islington College to help them identify their access control requirements and look forward to seeing the immediate positive effects.”
