Peter Honnan is the new Regional Manager for Scotland and Northern Ireland at Axis
Axis Security, the nationwide manned guarding and electronic security business, has appointed Peter Honnan as its new Regional Manager for Scotland and Northern Ireland. Peter, who has worked in the security industry for more than 30 years, has extensive management experience with such firms as Corps SecurityChubb Security Personnel and Reliance Security.

He has seen the development of the Axis Security business over the past few years and is pleased to join what is proving to be an ever-successful business model: "It is a well formed and robust business," says Peter. "It is built on the solid foundations that prioritise, above all, the importance of delivering exceptional customer service whilst at the same time looking after its employees. Not only that, but it is also very well supported by the senior management which can be lacking within the industry."

Axis Security, which was recently named Guarding Company of the Year in the Security Excellence Awards, has become the fastest growing company of its kind and has a proven track record in providing high-level security for a number of prestigious organisations including AG Barr in Scotland and FG Wilson in Northern Ireland. As Regional Manager one of Peter's first priorities has been to get out and visit customers and he has been impressed with the response to date: "Axis Security is a growing business that is expanding in a sustainable way and it is part of my challenge as Regional Manager to engineer further growth in Scotland and Northern Ireland," he adds.

"We have recently moved to new and modern premises in Livingston which is strategically placed for our commercial and operations teams serving the Scottish region. I hope to build the sales team throughout 2012 to make sure that the Axis Security name and reputation is known across the territory."

Commenting on Peter's appointment, Group Managing Director, Jonathan Levine says: "I am very pleased to welcome Peter to the regional management team he shares our philosophy and is well placed to support the continued success in Scotland and Northern Ireland going forward."
