Contigo, the leading provider of turnkey GPS solutions for asset tracking, fleet management and personal safety, is pleased to announce its partnership with Bold Technologies.  This alliance was formed to enhance the functionality of Contigo's GPS platform by providing alarm integration into the most innovative software automation platform for the security industry, Bold Manitou.

Subscribers using Contigo's revolutionary 8100 indoor-locatable asset tracking beacon currently receive email and/or cell phone alerts from Contigo's system when the beacon leaves a particular geographic area or zone.  As a result of this technology integration with Bold, these alerts are now integrated into the central station's standard incident handling processes.  Using location-aware PSAP (Public Safety Answering Point) data from the Contigo system, central station operators can immediately dispatch the appropriate local authorities in the event of a theft and provide continuous tracking information over the course of the alarm condition.

Rob Goehring, VP of Product Management and Marketing for Contigo, stated, "Bold's expertise in security automation software and cutting-edge software development combined with their innovative customer base made them a natural choice as a partner.  We are excited to continue to offer the most reliable, advanced GPS solutions, now enhanced with the Bold Manitou system."

"We are pleased to work with Contigo," stated Rod Coles, President of Bold.  "Contigo's GPS platform and full line of GPS products and services combined with their strong reputation within the security industry initially attracted us to them.  This partnership will now allow us to provide our central station customers with a broad portfolio of highly demanded GPS products and services."

Under the terms of the partnership, Contigo and Bold will co-market their integrated solution to Bold's existing customer base as well as potential central stations.  The first phase of the integration is complete and in operation with several security central stations, including Security Center in New Orleans, LA.
