VSG appoints Nick Reed as Systems MD

Nick Reed, new Managing Director of VSG

VSG, one of the UK's fastest growing providers of security services, has appointed Nick Reed as Managing Director of VSG Systems, which incorporates the operations of both VSG's NSI Gold Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) and the NACOSS accredited Rampart Security Limited, which was acquired by VSG in October 2008.

With a brief to drive the growth of VSG Systems and to develop new services for VSG clients, Reed brings to his new role more than 16 years of experience in the security industry, the last five of which he has spent working in a number of senior roles within VSG.

Nick is looking to develop seamless solutions that feature close integration between electronic security and manned guarding.

"I believe there is a big opportunity for cross-fertilisation between VSG's traditional areas of operation and the new areas opened up by the acquisition of Rampart Security. The result will be hugely beneficial for our customers, not least because they will now have access to a comprehensive range of security services delivered seamlessly by a single provider that they know will deliver on its promises."

VSG Systems will continue and enhance the strong traditions of innovation and outstanding customer service that were the hallmarks of Rampart Security.
