North American Video continues to score in gaming industry with Video Surveillance Systems Awards

North American Video, one of the nation’s premier security systems integrators, has announced contract awards from the Atlantis Marina Village in the Bahamas and the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood located in Hollywood, FL. The announcement was made by Cynthia Freschi, President of North American Video from the company’s headquarters in Brick. NJ.  The two contract awards are valued at approximately $2 million.

“The gaming market continues to be one of North American Video’s largest growth segments, which we greatly attribute to our intimate knowledge of casinos’ security needs and our reputation within the industry,” said Ms. Freschi.  “The two most recent contract awards from the Atlantis and the Hollywood Hard Rock are the result of relationships we have fostered with these organizations from previous installations completed by North American Video.”

The system award for the Atlantis Marina Village features Honeywell’s matrix switching solution and DVRs and an assortment of over 100 cameras from Ultrak.  The digital system also includes data integration with over 20 cash registers located throughout the facility to provide security and management personnel with the ability to track specific transactions via multiple search portals.  The installation at the Atlantis is on fast track.

The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, which opened in May 2004, occupies 100 acres of the Seminole Hollywood Reservation in Hollywood, FL.  The contract awarded to North American Video is for expansion to the video surveillance system initially installed by the systems integrator early last year.  The expansion system includes Everfocus DVRs, Pelco Spectra dome camera systems and an extension module for the facility’s Pelco matrix switcher.  The installation at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is scheduled for completion in less than 45 days.
