Paperlam® is a paper-based inlay, engineered to facilitate passport manufacturing with water-based glues and promote easy booklet binding, particularly when compared to other inlay materials. Paperlam SH uses a thin layer of radio-frequency shielding material, diminishing the risk of data theft when a booklet is closed. Once open, a booklet can be personalized or normally verified at a border crossing.
