ASSA ABLOY's Aperio® installed at one of the largest commercial banks in Morocco
ASSA ABLOY's Aperio® installed at one of the largest commercial banks in Morocco

Company: BMCE Bank Headquarters Segment: Financial Property Type: Headquarters Plant location city: Casablanca Aperio® solution: Aperio® C100 cylinders Aperio® Partner: CST Sécurité Number of Aperio® Cylinders: 50 electronic double knob cylinders with Euro profile What was the challenge? BMCE Bank is one of the largest commercial banks in Morocco, with a network of 540 branches. As part of a complete overhaul of its headquarters security arrangements, the bank needed a wireless locking solution to provide 50 of its glass doors with an instant upgrade to the existing access control system, without compromising on aesthetics. How did Aperio® meet the customer’s requirements? Easy and economical to install, ASSA ABLOY’s Aperio® cylinder solution enabled a simple security upgrade from the existing mechanical systems to a sleek and flexible access control wireless solution. With Aperio®’s flexible design and ability to work with the existing credentials, there was no issue with Aperio® easily connecting to the existing online access control system at BMCE Bank. And the installation was achieved with minimal modification to doors and premises, especially as many of the doors in the building were of architectural glass construction which is notoriously difficult and expensive for traditional wired access control solutions. Chris Bone, Vice President Access Control EMEA, says: “The selection of Aperio® for such a prestigious building, where security is of paramount importance, is true testament to the abilities of this revolutionary technology. This installation really demonstrates how Aperio® can provide end users in any market across the globe, with a simple to install but intelligent way of upgrading the controllability and security levels of their premises." About Aperio®Available on the global market place, ASSA ABLOY’s Aperio® Technology enables a wide range of access control providers to cost-effectively integrate non-wired doors with mechanical locks into access control systems

i2 Office offers fully serviced and furnished offices of the highest quality with the latest technology to suit all sizes of business in prime city centre locations across the UK. What was the challenge? Prior to Aperio, each sub-let i2 office was being hardwired into an existing access control system, which was proving costly and time consuming. How did Aperio meet the customer requests? Every office across the UK is now anticipated to change to ASSA ABLOY Aperio wireless locking solution. OCS Security Solutions, secured each office with Aperio wireless locks, which seamlessly links to the existing access control system without the need to cable around the doors. A selection of over 200 wireless E100 online escutcheons and wireless C100 online cylinder have been fitted to date. “The features of Aperio make it a simple and intelligent way of upgrading the controllability and security level of any premises. By utilising the existing access control system in place and not altering the doors in anyway, the installation costs are also minimised so more offices can be upgraded in shorter timescales.” Larry Lowther, Operations Manager at OCS Security Solutions. “Aperio appealed to us because of its innovative design and its ability to work with the security solution in place. We have found it really easy to use, as access can be granted or denied instantly without the need for updating cards.
