HID Global, the trusted leader in providing solutions for the delivery of secure identity, recently announced that Paul Naldrett has been named managing director of HID Global, EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa), reporting to Tony Ball, global vice president of Sales and Marketing, Identity and Access Management (IAM).

In his new role, Mr. Naldrett will be responsible for the strategic development and implementation of the company's business objectives for the EMEA region.  He will focus on further growth opportunities by promoting HID's unique secure identity-related capabilities through vehicles like HID Connect™, Networked Access Solutions and Card Services within EMEA.

"Paul's breadth of experience and proven track record of achieving profitability and growth  makes him the right choice to expand upon HID's IAM business in EMEA," said Tony Ball.  "His results-driven approach to business and expertise in the smart card industry will help to further strengthen the company and position us for future growth within this highly successful region."

Prior to joining HID Global, Mr. Naldrett served as the U.K. managing director and head of sales, EMEA, for Sagem Orga U.K. Limited, where he was responsible for the company's marketing and sales strategy, while carrying out the company's strategic objectives throughout all market segments.  Prior to that, he was the country manager for Netsize, overseeing sales and marketing within the U.K., while developing new revenue streams.  Mr. Naldrett also held several increasingly responsible positions within Gemplus (Gemalto), including sales manager, where he helped to build the foundation for the company's U.K. business, while managing telecom sales within the EMEA region.  

Additionally, Mr. Naldrett holds a bachelor's of Science in Management Science and Marketing from the Warwick Business School, University of Warwick in Coventry, U.K.
