ALPRO launch the new EB250 & EB250KO Solenoid Bolt

The Alpro Hardware Division of IEC Limited has announced the release of the new Alpro range of solenoid bolts.

Comprising the EB250 and EB250KO (key override), these innovative products allows for both remote access and exit control of most timber, metal and UPVC doors. It is also suitable for sliding or swing, single or double action operations. It can be fitted in the frame or in the door. With concealed mortice mounting and slimline styling the bolts suit most narrow stile aluminium doors and narrow profile joinery.

Construction of the bolt is from stainless steel, complete with a 14mm diameter bolt affecting a 14mm throw. A strike plate completes the secure locking function. The EB250/KO is further enhanced by a stainless steel dress plate to cover the brushed aluminium faceplate.

The bolt has a continuously rated solenoid, fully protected against transients and reverse polarity. Monitoring is by door position switch. The auto relock function can be set for 0, 3, 6 or 9 seconds. The bolt carries the requisite CE approval.
