DSC WS4926 wireless photoelectric smoke detector features automatic drift compensation, built-in 85dB horn, local test button, low profile design, high/low sensitivity reporting, easy-maintenance removable smoke chamber and long-life lithium batteries included. The detector is UL/ULC listed for residential applications.
In combination with DSC's 2-Way wireless security suite, the WS8913 EU carbon monoxide detector provides front line protection against the silent threat of carbon monoxide poisoning. WS8913 EU’s wireless function offers the transmission of important messages to the panel, through either explicit or generic trouble indications, including: trouble, endof-life (EOL), tamper and battery conditions.
DSC WS4975 wireless vanishing door/window contact is built with reliable 433 MHz technology, uses a long-life lithium battery and is compatible with all current DSC wireless receivers. The WS4975W is housed within a compact casing that allows it to be used for the tightest-fitting installations.
The WS8945W is designed for dependable case-tamper or walltamper detection. It’s streamline profile and new design allows for double-sided tape mounting. WS8945W features a pre-installed battery that is activated by installers through a pull tab. This helps reduce installation time as casings don’t need to be opened for battery insertion. Simply draw the activation pull tab and mount the contact.
The WS8965W tri-zone wireless door/window contact adds value to any installation by providing installers with three zones and reliable 868 MHz technology. The device can be mounted in the traditional manner, or if that is inconvenient for applications such as garage doors, it can be configured for normally closed “tilt switch” operation. In addition, the WS8965W has two normally closed external contact inputs that can be used for additional hardwired contacts or other dry contact switches. The internal contact provides a generous magnet gap of 13 mm (1/2”) and flexibility during difficult installations as it easily accommodates larger doors or window frames.
New to the DSC family of wireless sensors, the WS4985 flood detector is a wireless detector designed to work with the Alexor wireless panel as well as DSC 1-Way wireless receivers. The WS4985 flood detector senses the presence of water in basements, laundry rooms, bathrooms, kitchen and numerous other areas where water may leak or flood, prompting advance warning of potential flooding.
The 3G3070 connects the alarm control panel to the HSPA network and reports alarm signals directly to a monitoring station receiver (Sur-Gard System I/II/III/IV). The 3G3070 uses the HSPA network to ensure lowcost, high-speed and reliable alarm communications and is compatible with control panels that communicate using the Contact ID format. The 3G3070 is installed between the telephone connection of a control panel and telephone line. When used in a backup role, the communicator assesses the connection to the PSTN phone line, and if that has failed, it then connects to the HSPA network to send an alarm signal to the monitoring station. In a primary role, the communicator simply sends the alarm transmission over the HSPA network immediately.
The 3G3070CF connects the alarm control panel to the HSPA network and reports alarm signals directly to a monitoring station receiver (Sur-Gard System I/II/III/IV). The 3G3070CF uses the HSPA network to ensure lowcost, high-speed and reliable alarm communications and is compatible with control panels that communicate using the Contact ID format. The 3G3070CF is compliant with the latest requirements for communications methods as per UL864 and NFPA72 2010 edition. It can be used in fire monitoring applications as a single communications technology, in which case any failure of the communications path shall be annunciated at the supervising station within 5 minutes of the failure, or it can be used as part of a multiple communications technologies.
DSC offers 3G2060R HSPA wireless alarm communicator. When connected to a DSC PowerSeries PC1864/1832/1616 control panel, alarm reporting paths can be combined through the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) if so desired, plus the HSPA channels. It conveniently utilises the HSPA network as back-up to ensure high speed, reliable and secure alarm communications. With the HSPA backup feature, any concerns about the possibility of phone line disruption is removed. The 3G2060R offers full data reporting and remote management for installers, saving time and reducing costs.
DSC WT5500A provides an easy-to-use and convenient main interface to the system. The WT5500 can be conveniently located on the wall just inside the front door or on a desk-stand in the kitchen or even near a bedside. The WT5500 is entirely wire-free. With batteries as its main power source, it does not require any drilling or electrical wiring for its installation and operation.
The GS3105 is a GSM/GPRS interface and a standalone device capable of generating voice dialer messages and SMS event notifications. Its onboard outputs can be triggered remotely via telephone to activate external equipment or indicators. The GS3105 simulates the PSTN line and decodes Contact ID format, so it is virtually “invisible” to the control panel it is connected to. Simple to install and program, the GS3105 is equipped with a quad band GSM/ GPRS radio and remote antenna with magnetic base. Its extremely small size and low current draw allows for installation inside the control panel’s cabinet and does not require an additional battery.
