IFSEC 2015: Impact of 4K cameras

Sourcesecurity.com asked some of the exhibitors at IFSEC 2015 about the impact of the new trend towards 4K cameras. According to Vicon, the biggest challenge they are facing currently is offering a VMS that supports 4K cameras. Arecont Vision on the other hand is hoping that over a period of time 4K technology is going to be really great for single sensors as well as multiple sensor platforms. Sony’s sensor, lens and image processing technology enable it to deliver a fully integrated high-performance product.
