Hikvision’s H.265+ technology helps 4K video surveillance possible

The Hikvision H.265+ codec optimises H.265 encoding technology. With H.265+, video quality remains the same while radically reducing transmission bandwidth and data storage capacity requirements. H.265+ will cut storage costs, make the fullest use of surveillance video investments, and broaden the use of 4K and ultra-HD security video. H.265+ also optimises Darkfighter technology, allowing hi-res files to be transmitted and stored. Hikvision, the supplier of innovative video surveillance products and solutions, exhibits the latest in surveillance technology at IFSEC International 2017 on 20-22 June at the ExCel Centre in London. The theme of this year’s stand is Pioneering AI Technology for Video Surveillance.
