Hikvision’s H.265+ technology helps 4K video surveillance possible

The Hikvision H.265+ codec optimises H.265 encoding technology. With H.265+, video quality remains the same while radically reducing transmission bandwidth and data storage capacity requirements. H.265+ will cut storage costs, make the fullest use of surveillance video investments, and broaden the use of 4K and ultra-HD security video. H.265+ also optimises Darkfighter technology, allowing hi-res files to be transmitted and stored. Hikvision, the supplier of innovative video surveillance products and solutions, exhibits the latest in surveillance technology at IFSEC International 2017 on 20-22 June at the ExCel Centre in London. The theme of this year’s stand is Pioneering AI Technology for Video Surveillance. The event is the largest security exhibition in Europe, and welcomes everyone in the security industry from manufacturers to end users.
