Hikvision installation guide - speed dome camera

The Hikvision Speed Dome Installation Process gives step-by-step instructions on how to go about assembling all the parts of the camera together. The camera parts include lens/head, headcover, main body of bracket, junction box of bracket, waterproof connector, pendant adapter, screw pack and allen wrench. The tools required for the task include the quick start guide, anti-static gloves and thread seal tape.

Steps for installation of the Hikvision Speed Dome Camera are –

• Take off the bubble,
• Tear off the adhesive tape and take out the protective foam,
• Install the memory card,
• Replace the bubble and tighten the screws,
• Route the device cables through the main body of the bracket,
• Install the main body of the bracket to the dome,
• Tighten the set screws,
• Route the cables through the waterproof connector,
• Secure the junction box into the wall with the four screws,
• Disassemble the waterproof connector,
• Route the cables through the waterproof connector,
• Fasten the waterproof connector to the junction box,
• Hook the assembled bracket and the device up to the junction box,
• Connect the power cable and network cable,
• Close the cable box and tighten the set screws,
• Remove the handle from the safety rope,
• Remove the protective film on the bubble,
• Installation finished
