Optimal use of memory capacity - have you ever noticed how you can fit more in a suitcase if you pack neatly?  That is exactly how the VQ Anti-Frag technology works, neatly storing images without unnecessary gaps - making sure you get the very most out of any memory capacity.

Elimination of unnecessary recording - why record 25 / 30 images per second when they are all the same?  The VQ range is event driven, so memory is not wasted storing the same image.  However, 200 ips recording speed ensures that when there is action, everything is captured.
