Ward Security has achieved Cyber Essentials accreditation following an independent assessment of its IT network and systems. The quality mark which was created by the National Cyber Security Centre is a national government standard that demonstrates the company’s ongoing commitment to cyber security and to maintaining the highest possible standards for its clients. The importance of gaining the accreditation not only demonstrates that Ward Security continues to strive to be the best security player in the industry but also provides a confidence boost for clients who may be concerned that their suppliers are taking the correct steps to protect themselves from cyber-attacks and data breaches. External assessing body CCAS carried out a combined annual assessment of Ward Security during February 2017 National security firm Ward Security has achieved its highest ever score of 171 out of 174 in an independent audit conducted on behalf of the Security Industry Authority (SIA) - the organisation responsible for regulating the private security industry in the UK as part of its Approved Contractor Score (ACS) scheme. Ward Security transitions Ward Security has also successfully completed transition to ISO 9001:2015 (quality management systems) and ISO 14001:2015 (environmental management) from the older versions of the standards. External assessing body Chamber Certification Assessment Service Ltd (CCAS) carried out a combined annual assessment of Ward Security during February 2017 that included a reverification assessment for the SIA Approved Contractor Scheme for Security Guarding, Door Supervision, CCTV and Keyholding sectors. Auditors visited Ward Security’s Rochester and London offices, as well as the company’s control room and thirteen customer sites across the UK, conducting interviews with Ward Security management, employees and customers.
