The cameras are quick and simple to configure from Grundig’s new GRN range of NVRs, using an on-screen display Grundig Security’s new Connect IP, 3MP cameras come in vandal dome, flat dome and bullet camera housings. They feature an extended operating temperature range; comprehensive built-in analytics; intuitive set-up; extensive IR illumination distances; edge recording; and dual power support. Connect IP, 3MP camera range The Connect IP vandal dome has a 2.8~12.0mm varifocal lens and 20m IR illumination. The flat dome has a 2.8mm lens and 10m IR illumination. There are two bullet cameras, one with a 4mm lens and 25m IR and a second with 2.8 to 12.0mm varifocal lens and 30m IR. All the cameras operate from -30°C to 60°C, without a heater, and include low voltage or PoE power options. Camera configuration The cameras are quick and simple to configure from Grundig’s new GRN range of NVRs, using an on-screen display. Alternatively, Grundig’s web interface, which is compatible with standard browsers, can be used. Camera attributes Built-in analytics intelligence includes motion detection with adjustable sensitivity; line crossing and intrusion zone alerts; tamper, with video loss and blurred image recognition; and system integrity exceptions where full HDD, HDD error and network loss can be detected. All analytics can trigger notifications to an IP server, email and FTP and can be scheduled for different actions by hour, day and week. A card slot for Micro SD/SDHC/SDXC edge recording up to 128Gb is enabled with options for continuous, snap-shot, pre, post and multi-stream recording. The vandal dome is IK10 vandal-rated and all the cameras are IP66 moisture ingress-rated for outdoor use, including the flat dome. Brackets include pole, wall, pendant and corner as well as a junction box fitting for the vandal dome.
Grundig’s new, rugged, outdoor fisheye dome camera, GCI-M1566F, uses a die-cast, aluminium body and polycarbonate, optical lower dome to achieve IK10 vandal-resistance and IP66 environmental ratings. It benefits from an exceptional night-time, IR illumination range of 7m using four, built-in, high power LEDs. Separate audio input and output jack sockets not only allow verbal communication with a site but also enable an audio alarm triggered by noise. This and further alarm event triggers, such as motion, tamper, audio detection and network failure, all activate recording, either remotely or on the camera’s built-in micro SD memory card. A handy time-lapse option also enables single frame recording at between 1 and 60 minute intervals. Back-end de-warping functionality The outdoor fisheye dome uses a 6.0 MP (3072x2048 pixels), 1/1.8” Sony progressive scan CMOS sensor with Ambarella S2 digital signal processor. Fisheye, panoramic settings offer 360° and 180° field of views and options of either back-end or front-end de-warping. Front-end de-warping produces a 4MP stream with a 360° field of view, presented as an elliptical image, with an additional 2MP quad image where each image can be adjusted and zoomed individually. This is designed for using with VMS and NVR solutions, which do not have their own de-warp functionality. Back-end de-warping provides integrated VMS and NVR solutions, with a 6MP, 360° stream and up to 4 further streams. True day / night functionality The fisheye camera has true day / night functionality, with removable IR-cut filter (ICR), so is ideal for use in dark and poorly lit, outdoor areas. It is powered by 12 V DC or PoE, using just 10 watts with its LEDs running. It can be set up by web browser, allowing up to 20 simultaneous clients. Further functionality includes up to 5 privacy zones, WDR and ATW. At just 42.7mm deep and 117mm in diameter it is both compact and inconspicuous in almost any application.
Grundig Security is pleased to announce the inclusion of panomorph technology, from ImmerVision, in its Ultra HD, 6MP Fisheye, day/night camera. The high performance, panoramic camera provides a 360° view, making it ideal for overview applications in retail, garage forecourt, public space, residential and reception areas. ‘ImmerVision Enables’ - Built-in de-warping software Grundig’s panomorph camera offers exceptional image quality, using a 6 MP, CMOS sensor with 360° and 180° viewing options, at up to 25 fps. The camera uses ‘ImmerVision Enables’ built-in de-warping software, the new 360° video standard, which corrects panomorph lens image distortion. The panomorph camera lens design allocates more pixels to critical areas of its view than a standard fisheye camera, such as those containing people or vehicles. It operates equally well in demanding lighting conditions, due to its 0.2 / 0.02Lux sensitivity and integrated IR LED illuminators. Further image enhancement technologies include digital wide dynamic range (WDR), digital noise reduction (DNR) and back light compensation (BLC). The 360° view eliminates blind spots, capturing all site incidents, in a cost-effective, single camera solution. When used in combination with fixed cameras, this cutting edge panomorph camera helps to provide optimal site coverage with fewer cameras. Privacy zone settings for restricted areas are also included. Can be used with more than 50 leading VMS platforms The ImmerVision de-warped video streams can be used with NVRs and more than 50 leading video management software platforms. The camera can be set up to provide operators with 1, 2 or 4 video streams or the 360° or 180° panoramic view. A built-in SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card slot allows alarm and scheduled recording to take place in the camera and bi-directional audio offers additional incident intervention capabilities. Electronic pan, tilt and zoom functionality, in live or record modes, provides simultaneous detailed and overview images. The Grundig panomorph camera is available in the UK through the Security Buying Group. ImmerVision has developed the leading 360-degree panoramic imaging technology. Its patented, panomorph optical and software technology offers 360 degree solutions to all markets. Immervision Enables, is the recognised standard for 360-degree solutions and applications.
