The integral 320GB hard disk allows storage of up to one week's video data at a resolution of 352x240pixels (maximum resolution 704x576 pixels). Real-time backup onto external storage media is available as an option. The PCS-19/DVR-08 works using efficient H.264 compression for network transmission of video data in high quality with simultaneously reduced bandwidth requirements. A mouse, external hard disk or DVD writer can be connected at the two integral USB ports.
