ioimage will present on implementation of  video analytics
ioimage, the pioneer of intelligent video appliances designed for simplicity, announced recently that it is sponsoring, and presenting at, the ninth annual Global Digital Surveillance Forum (GDSF) Asia, to be held at the Taipei World Trade Center in Taiwan, April 22-23.

Maoz Tenenbaum, ioimage Senior Sales Director, Asia Pacific, will be addressing the forum on April 22nd.

His presentation, titled Implementing Video Analytics in Times of Financial Crisis, will cover the impact of video analytics on an organisation's bottom line by reducing manpower costs and heading off acts of vandalism and theft, and how security practitioners can save money by retrofitting existing surveillance systems with video analytics.

GDSF Asia is affiliated with SecuTech Expo and one of a series of four seminars organised annually by A&S Group. The other three are being held in China, Japan and Vietnam. Some 250 industry leaders are expected to attend the two-day event, including Asia's top players in the security sector, system integrators, international suppliers and buyers and large-scale end users. Under the theme IP & Intelligence - the Future Landscape of Surveillance, GDSF Asia will focus on innovations in surveillance technology, integrated solutions, as well as edge, IP and networked devices.

Tenenbaum has vast experience throughout Asia Pacific in homeland security, voice/video/data over IP and digital signature solutions. He has negotiated deals worth millions of dollars in the region and has extensive business alliances with many of APEC's driving forces.

"Users today are looking for ways to meet their security needs more economically. Retrofitting their current surveillance systems with video analytics is a practical and cost-effective option," said Tenenbaum. "Existing analogue installations can immediately implement an intelligent video solution through a simple video-in-video-out scheme, running the video feed for analysis through our encoders, without having to change the existing infrastructure."
