Verint Systems Inc., a leading provider of analytic software-based solutions for workforce-enterprise optimisation and security, announced an agreement with Motorola, Inc. to enable the use of Verint NextivaTM Wireless devices on MOTOMESH broadband wireless networks.  The Nextiva Wireless portfolio received MOTOMESH Ready validation, certifying that Verint Intelligent Edge Devices with integrated video analytics can be easily deployed by municipalities, public safety organisations and enterprises using MOTOMESH network technology.

"This agreement brings Verint and Motorola together with complementary technologies to enable security and law enforcement personnel to deliver coordinated and effective emergency response," said Jim Clark, General Manager of Video Intelligence Solutions for Verint Systems Inc.  "Our Nextiva Wireless Intelligent Edge Devices are well suited for operation on Motorola's powerful mesh networks, and will enable us to leverage the growing momentum in the municipal security market."

Motorola's MOTOMESH wireless broadband network enables users to wirelessly access high-bandwidth applications anywhere, at any time - even while in a moving vehicle.  By deploying Nextiva wireless video management solutions on a Motorola mesh network, private security, law enforcement and emergency response personnel have immediate, high speed access to security video and data delivering heightened situational awareness to enable a more effective response.

The MOTOMESH Ready program allows applications vendors the opportunity to validate their products over Motorola's wireless broadband networks and the ability to offer a comprehensive, complementary solution to meet the growing needs of municipalities, public safety agencies, enterprises and service providers.

The Nextiva portfolio of networked video solutions includes video management software, integrated analytics, encoders and IP cameras, intelligent DVRs and robust SDKs and integrations for use in a variety of vertical market environments. Nextiva enables organisations of all sizes, from small and mid-sized enterprises to major government and commercial organisations, to enhance the security of their facilities and infrastructure and the performance of their business operations by networking video across multiple locations and applying advanced content analytics to extract actionable intelligence from live and stored video.  By alerting security personnel to potential security threats, Nextiva helps organisations prevent security breaches, improve response time and enhance operational efficiency.
