Norbain SD Limited announced recently that it has acquired certain assets of PTS Security based in Derby, England.  PTS Security is a distributor specialising in the sales and support of complex CCTV solutions to an established customer base throughout the UK.

With effect from 27th July, PTS Security will cease sales of Pelco CCTV equipment, but will service warranties and collect monies due to it for sales prior to this date.  Sales and marketing staff from PTS Security will transfer to Norbain immediately.

Alun John, Managing Director of Norbain SD Limited, commented, "Norbain is renowned for product choice, world class logistics and a service and support infrastructure that is the best in the industry.  PTS Security has developed an enviable reputation for professional training and technical support of the Pelco branded CCTV products.  A natural synergy exists between the two companies, making their combination an obvious and logical development."

"This signals our deepening commitment to the complex project market and, in particular, to meeting the needs and expectations of system integrators through which PTS Security has developed long-standing and highly effective relationships."

"Combine PTS Security's system integrator experience, Norbain's logistics and marketing reputation, with a shared commitment to technical excellence, training and customer support, and we are confident a winning formulae will be born."
