artec enters UK blue-light sector

artec technologies in co-operation with the company Impact develops a particularly tailor-made system

artec technologies AG in co-operation with the company Impact from London V.A.D.E.R. (Video Audio Digitally Evidence Recording) has been developed on the basis of XentauriX®, a particularly tailor-made system on the needs of the police sector for the digital admission and protection of interrogation.

Also within other ranges such as Higher Education, Government Bodies, Military and Defence V.A.D.E.R. will be more popular.

In Great Britain all interrogations have to be archived. So far, this has happened on analogue basis, tapes will be dispatched for evaluation and for creating the transcript. This variation retails a lot of work and is time-intensive.

With modification on the V.A.D.E.R. system, the analogue recorders will be re-placed, via network the interrogations can be looked at, worked on and being added as additional information to the crimes already assigned. The transcript can be provided manually or automatically immediately after the interrogation, by search function this additional information be looked for, with networking even across all police stations. Results are available within seconds.

The first larger installation with the equipment of 50 cross-examining areas is planned for the first half-year 2009.
