When combined with IDENT-KEY evaluation units and the corresponding code carriers, the IDENT-KEY operating unit works as a switching element for arming / disarming intrusion detection systems. The Comfort Key operating unit requires the use of a suitable mechanical blocking device that is actuated by the intrusion detection central unit. The LEDs are only actuated when the door is released. The optical and acoustic indicators can be actuated via an intrusion detection central unit or an IDENT-KEY evaluation unit. ID data carriers are managed via the 059998 programming device in connection with conventional IK evaluation units.
