The alarm module 590M is optional in the SYSTEM 500M, but fitted in the SYSTEM 1000M. The module features 32 inputs for potential free contacts and two outputs, a relay output and an open collector output. In addition to accepting alarm inputs the module can be used to integrate a time lapse video recorder into the system thereby having multiple cameras recorded onto the tape. In case of alarm the VCR relay can be used to temporarily switch the VCR to real time recording of the alarmed picture presented on the monitor output.
