Brivo Cloud Based Access Control: Securing The Jones Group

The Jones Group is a leading designer, marketer and wholesaler with brands including Jones New York, Nine West, Stuart Weitzman, and Anne Klein. It maintains production, distribution, and retail facilities throughout the US and around the world.

Brian David, Security Manager for The Jones Group, explained his challenges, “We wanted a remote, web-based system to control multiple locations at once. One of our goals is to unite all our brands by creating a global badge that’s a secure, consistent form of identification throughout the company.”

Jones now has cloud-based access control in six of its New York City buildings, a facility in Pennsylvania, and another in California, among others. With Brivo, Jones manages 225 doors, a number which will increase substantially once other buildings are brought on-line. Just in New York City, the company relies on Brivo to secure 25 floors in several different buildings.

Brian David’s assessment of progress so far? “Brivo’s web-based system allows us to minimize personnel devoted to security, and in turn enables us to be a more efficient, secure company. The system is extremely convenient and makes constant access possible. Our goal is one system and one screen, and with Brivo we will be able to accomplish that.”
