China Security and Protection Industry Association (CSPIA), as the trade umbrella association for the professional security industry in the People's Republic of China, was founded in December, 1992 by the governing body of the Ministry of Public Security of China, with more than 4000 members who are responsible for more than 80% of China security business including CCTV, access control, manned security, alarm, biometrics and physical security.

Sold Secure is the premier testing and certification house for security products. The organisation is dedicated to reducing the risk of crime by the assessment of security products. Established in 1992 by Northumbria and Essex Police with the help and backing of the Home Office, Sold Secure is now owned and administered by the Master Locksmiths Association.
